Each medicine has its brand name, its generic (salt) and strength, its dosage form, its manufacturer and its DRAP registration number. From the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) register of registered products. MediPOS cleans it for use at the counter: the form and strength are taken out of the name, salts are matched to their generic, duplicates are merged, and export-only and veterinary registrations are left out.
Yes. Type a salt such as amoxicillin or omeprazole and every brand of it appears with its strength and manufacturer, in the POS and when adding products.
No. Prices change with every distributor and scheme, so you enter your own price and cost when you receive stock. MediPOS keeps the price per unit: box, strip and tablet.
