MediPOS vs Tejarify: which is better for a pharmacy in 2026?

MediPOS vs Tejarify comes up often among medical store owners who are leaving old desktop software such as Abuzar. Both are Pakistani, both keep a customer khata and a supplier ledger, and both say they are FBR ready. They are built for different shops. Tejarify is a cloud platform for retail and wholesale businesses, with a web app, an Android app and a desktop app that is still coming. MediPOS is built only for pharmacies and medical stores. It runs offline on the shop PC today, or in the cloud.

This comparison takes Tejarify's prices and features from its own website, tejarify.com and its pricing page, and MediPOS's from our pricing page, all checked on 27 September 2026.

The short answer

For a pharmacy, MediPOS costs a fraction of Tejarify and does more of the pharmacy work:

• One counter, for a year: MediPOS Offline Rs 12,000 a year, or Cloud Rs 25,000. Tejarify Basic Rs 5,000 a month, Rs 60,000 a year. You keep Rs 35,000 to Rs 48,000 a year.
• Three counters, for a year: MediPOS Offline Standard Rs 20,000 a year for up to 5 PCs, or Cloud Standard Rs 55,000. Tejarify Pro Rs 15,350 a month, Rs 184,200 a year. You keep over Rs 1.2 lakh.
• Billing without internet: the MediPOS Windows app runs on the shop PC with no internet today. Tejarify's desktop app says "Desktop app coming soon"; its web and Android apps do not say they work offline.
• Medicines ready on day one: MediPOS comes with 45,000+ Pakistani medicines from the DRAP register. Tejarify imports your own product list.
• Expiry: MediPOS sells the batch that expires first and blocks expired batches at the counter. Tejarify tracks batch and expiry and lists "FIFO / LIFO support".

Tejarify is ahead in some places, listed below: a longer trial, a phone app that can bill, wholesale and an online store.

Price in PKR: what you actually pay

Tejarify is billed monthly; its website shows no yearly price:

• Free: PKR 0 a month, with point of sale, reporting and WhatsApp receipts. The page does not say whether this is a lasting free plan or the trial.
• Basic: PKR 5,000 a month. One POS terminal, B2B wholesale, reporting.
• Pro: PKR 15,350 a month. Three POS terminals, Munshi AI, salesman commissions, supplier ledger.
• Enterprise: PKR 30,700 a month. Ten POS terminals, an online store, expenses and a media manager.
• Branches are an add-on: "Rs 5,000 / branch / month".

Its prices exclude tax. Modules can also be bought one by one, such as point of sale at PKR 3,500 per terminal a month.

MediPOS Offline runs on your own shop PC: Basic is Rs 12,000 a year (or Rs 30,000 for three years) for up to 2 PCs, and Standard is Rs 20,000 a year (or Rs 50,000 for three years) for up to 5 PCs. MediPOS Cloud runs in the browser: Basic is Rs 2,500 a month or Rs 25,000 a year, Standard is Rs 5,500 a month or Rs 55,000 a year for up to three branches, and Chain is Rs 15,000 a month for up to ten.

Every MediPOS plan includes the medicine database and FBR integration, and the Standard and Chain plans add the Owner app.

Offline today, or coming soon

Load-shedding and weak internet are why many pharmacies still run a desktop program. The MediPOS Offline edition installs on the shop's Windows PC. The main PC keeps the data, counter PCs connect over the shop network, and billing, stock, udhaar and printing need no internet. It backs up every night, at every cash-shift close and before every update, and updates install themselves.

Tejarify's home page shows an offline-ready desktop POS. The download page says: "Desktop app coming soon. Offline-first Windows POS is on the way. Meanwhile, run Tejarify in the browser or grab the Android app." Until it is released, Tejarify runs in the cloud, and its website does not say whether the web or Android app keeps billing without internet.

Built for trade, or built for a pharmacy

Tejarify's features are for retail and wholesale: B2B orders, carton pricing for the trade, salesman commissions, an online store and an AI assistant. Its pharmacy page is for pharmaceutical distribution.

MediPOS starts from the counter of a medical store: box, strip and tablet from one stock, batch and expiry on every purchase, distributor schemes in the cost, udhaar with limits, and books kept in the background.

Medicines and expiry

MediPOS comes with 45,000+ Pakistani medicines from the DRAP register, with brand, generic (salt), strength, form and manufacturer, so a new shop picks what it stocks instead of typing a list. You can try the search on our website. At the counter the batch that expires first is sold first, and an expired batch cannot be sold. The expiry dashboard shows what expires in the next 7, 30, 60 and 90 days, with its value.

Tejarify tracks batch and expiry "for regulated stock" and maps pack, strip and bottle so cashiers do not sell the wrong unit. Its home page lists "FIFO / LIFO support". It does not mention a preloaded medicine list, selling the earliest expiry first, or blocking expired stock.

Schemes, udhaar and suppliers

MediPOS spreads distributor bonus schemes (10+1), trade discounts, sales tax and freight into the landed cost of each medicine, so profit reports show the margin you really made. Customer udhaar has credit limits, statements and aging, with a supervisor's PIN when a cashier goes over a limit. Supplier payments, statements, purchase returns and payables aging are included in every plan.

Tejarify has a digital customer ledger with credit limits and history, and a supplier ledger, which is a module in its Pro plan and above. Its website does not mention bonus schemes or purchase returns.

FBR

MediPOS reports every invoice, void and return to FBR for Tier-1 pharmacies, through FBR's online API or the Fiscal Component. It prints the FBR invoice number and QR code on the receipt, and sends bills made while FBR is unreachable automatically later. It is in every plan and stays off for stores that are not Tier-1.

Tejarify's product pages say "FBR-ready invoices with NTN/STRN support". Its migration page asks Tier-1 retailers to book a demo "so we can confirm the integration path for your NTN".

Where Tejarify is ahead

• A longer trial: 30 days with all modules, against 14 days with MediPOS.
• Billing from a phone: Tejarify's Android app covers sales and purchases. The MediPOS Owner app only reads, by design, and billing happens on the counter PC or in the browser.
• Wholesale and an online store: B2B orders, trade pricing and an e-commerce store, if you also sell to other shops or online.
• Munshi AI: an assistant that answers questions about sales, stock and dues in Urdu, Punjabi or English.
• Migration help: a published plan for moving from Abuzar, Candela, Nimbus and others, with import help included.
