MediPOS emails you when something about your account needs your attention: confirming your email address when you sign up, reminders before your free trial or plan ends, your invoices and payments, and security alerts when your password changes or someone signs in from a new browser or PC. This guide lists every email, who gets it and when, so you can tell a real MediPOS email from a fake one and know what to do with each.
All of them come from the MediPOS mailbox, carry the MediPOS logo at the top and our contact details at the bottom, and start with Assalam-o-Alaikum and your name.
Confirming your email
When you sign up, MediPOS may email you a link to confirm your address. Click Confirm my email in that email, and MediPOS opens. Until then, it shows Confirm your email with a Send the link again button.
- The link works for 60 minutes. An older one does nothing: send it again.
- Not in your inbox after a minute? Look in the spam or promotions folder.
- Staff you add under Administration → Team are not asked to confirm: you typed their address yourself.
Account emails (to the owner)
| When | |
|---|---|
| Welcome to MediPOS | Right after you sign up. It says whether your free trial has started or is waiting for approval by the MediPOS team |
| Your pharmacy is approved | When the MediPOS team approves your pharmacy and your trial starts |
| About your MediPOS sign-up | If the team could not approve it yet, with the reason |
| Invoice MPI-… | When you ask for an invoice under Plan & billing: the amount, the accounts to pay into, and a link to upload the payment screenshot |
| Payment received | When the team verifies your payment, with the date your plan now runs to |
| Payment for MPI-… not confirmed | If the team could not confirm a payment, with the reason |
| Reply to your support request | When MediPOS support answers a request you sent under Support |
Trial and plan reminders (to the owner)
So billing never stops by surprise, MediPOS reminds every owner of the pharmacy before the end date and again after it:
| When | |
|---|---|
| Your trial ends in 3 days | Three days before the free trial ends |
| Your trial ends tomorrow | The day before |
| Your trial ends today | On the last day, with the date the grace period ends |
| Your plan ends on … | A week before a paid plan ends, and again the day before |
| Your trial has ended / Your plan has ended | The day after, while the grace period keeps everything working |
| MediPOS is read-only | When the grace period is over: you can still view, print, export and receive udhaar payments, and nothing is deleted |
Each reminder comes once. Renewing moves the end date, and the reminders start over for the new date. See Plans, invoices and paying for MediPOS for how to pay.
Security emails (to you)
These go to the person whose account it is, owner or staff, when they have an email address:
| When | What to do if it was not you | |
|---|---|---|
| New sign-in to your MediPOS account | You signed in from a browser or PC MediPOS has not seen you use before. It names the browser (for example Chrome on Android) or the PC, the time and the internet address | Change your password at once under My account: that signs every other PC out |
| Your MediPOS password was changed | Your password was changed under My account | Reset it with Forgot password and tell the owner |
| Your MediPOS password was reset | Your password was reset with the emailed link | Reset it again and tell the owner |
| Two-step sign-in is on / was switched off | Two-step sign-in was turned on or off for your account | Change your password and turn two-step sign-in on again |
Signing in again from the same browser or PC sends nothing. A browser whose history and cookies were cleared counts as new.
Common questions
I did not get the email. What should I check?
Look in the spam, promotions or updates folder first, and add the MediPOS address to your contacts. Check that the email address on your account is right under My account. If nothing arrives at all, message MediPOS support on WhatsApp.
Can I stop the reminder emails?
They stop by themselves once your plan is paid, and start again only near the next end date. They go to the owners of the pharmacy, not to staff.
Does MediPOS ever ask for my password by email?
No. MediPOS never asks for your password, PIN or two-step code in an email or on WhatsApp. An email that does is not from MediPOS: do not reply, and tell us.
Do the Offline edition PCs send emails?
No. Emails come from MediPOS online, for your account. Your shop PC keeps working with no email or internet at all.
